How it works 

Load: The material to be dried is loaded into the dryer.

Seal: The dryer is sealed to create a vacuum.

Heat: The cone-shaped drum is heated with steam or hot water.

Rotate: The drum rotates slowly and gently.

Vaporize: The moisture in the material vaporizes.

Remove vapor: The vapor is removed by the vacuum pump.

Cool: The dryer is cooled to the desired moisture content.

Discharge: The product is discharged from the dryer.

Applications 

RCVDs are used to dry temperature-sensitive materials.
